The BRHD has confirmed three human cases of WNV in the Cache Valley.  Here is the press release from the BRHD regarding these cases:

In addition there has been one more human case that has been verified and a horse that has been identified with contracting the West Nile Virus.

As of August 22, 2025, there have been reported 3 human cases, 1 horse and 10 out of 16 mosquito traps that have tested positive for the West Nile Virus during this season.
