The BRHD has confirmed six human cases of WNV in the Cache Valley.  Here is the press release from the BRHD regarding these cases:

In addition there have been four (4) horses that have been identified with contracting the West Nile Virus.

As of August 28, 2025, there have been reported 6 human cases, 2 horses and 10 out of 16 mosquito traps that have tested positive for the West Nile Virus during this season.
